The Emma Yong Fund Committee
Selena is the creator of the Dim Sum Dollies® as well, as the founder of Dream Academy®, a theatrical production house which has been producing great quality shows since 2000. Emma and Selena were close friends and fellow Dim Sum Dollies. During Emma’s fight with stomach cancer, she discussed the desire to help others who might find themselves in the same plight as her. Upon her passing, Selena and some of Emma’s many other friends put together a memorial concert to raise money for The Emma Yong Fund to help other theatre practitioners with cancer and other life-threatening diseases and conditions.
Glen is a theatre and film director and worked very closely with Emma on the stage as well as on the silver screen. He is the Associate Artistic Director and board member of W!ldRice and he also sits on the board of the Asian Film Archive.
Sharon is a civil servant with the Singapore Government. She has known Emma and been close friends with her since they were classmates in secondary school. She hopes to honour Emma's memory through the work of The Emma Yong Fund.
